Komal Goswami

Komal Goswami (b. 2001, Gainesville, FL) is a new media artist who specializes in 3D/CG generation, AI art practices, digital imaging, programming, sound, and video that is developing an ongoing experimental filmmaking practice. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in Art + Technology and a minor in Theatre from the University of Florida. She recently exhibited her 3D composite image "Hyde and Hyde" at Moisturizer Gallery’s "Goblin Mode" exhibition in Gainesville, FL, and showcased "Is this what I think it is?," an AI animation with sound at the "16th Annual Digital Graffiti" at Alys Beach, Panama City Beach, FL. She has curated and exhibited new media works in group exhibitions "World Builders, Inc.," "LAiZY ((Experiments in ARTificial Intelligence))," and "2G00DHOTD@MN.V4." She previously exhibited some of her 3D composite images at 621 Gallery's biannual month-long art festival, "Art + Tech Fest," in Tallahassee, FL as well. Goswami was a Finalist at the "16th Annual Digital Graffiti," a Nominee for the "34th Annual University Student Exhibition" at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and a Recipient of the E. Robert Langley Scholarship Fund at the University of Florida's School of Art + Art History.
