Hyde & Hyde transcends into the afterlife after his chapters of life have concluded. This is an experimental cinema project for The Hyphenverse, a series exploring characters that reside in a "real world" away from "the real world."

Organic forms in various hues and vibrancy come together to create a visually chaotic composition. A lifeless, four-eyed brown and green 3D model serves as the protagonist of this piece. Fragments of letters and clusters of circles and ovular shapes are layered with motifs of the liminal location that the character occupies. Dramatic, euphoric, and corny clips of royalty-free sounds are compiled together along with the video to create a transcending atmosphere.

Hyde & Hyde is back, serving as an emotional and mental growth agent in this transcending piece. The way Hyde feels and thinks is activated through the genre-bending sound design. He is in suspense, coming to terms that he is on the path to death or symbolic cleansing. Eventually, he explodes from jiggling too much, for he is overwhelmed from bearing his emotions and thoughts. This sequence overall is the transition of symbolic cleansing or transcendence.

Footage of the location was shot on the RED Raven. 3D animation was composited with some of the RED footage via Nuke. AI animations were created through Deforum Stable Diffusion via HiPerGator. Royalty-free sounds were also collected. Each sound clip was strung together with Constant Power. The collected footage was arranged through multiple video channels and blended to create painterly visuals.
