Women are incredible! We support more than half the sky. It's empowering when women uplift each other. Not all women have a voice, so those who can, should speak up for those who can't.My work celebrates the female nude and narratives. Inspired by Renaissance paintings, I reimagine these women through a female perspective. Using humour, I show how some women reclaim realistic body representations. Colourful hair, textiles, and accessories challenge female identity perceptions. I create bold paintings with multiple flat layers of paint to promote visibility and empowerment.By blending myths, legends, and historical images, I explore cultural attitudes towards contemporary women and marginalised figures, impacting gender politics. My work focuses on identity and body image, highlighting societal gatekeeping that excludes or polices women, hindering their participation and self-expression.
