The Magnolia has an exceptional beauty that I wanted to capture within this painting. The background was painted using a soft bokeh approach creating soft orbs of light, alongside 24CT gold leaf, enhancing natures delicacy and beauty. Further focus was given to light and shadow within the flowers themselves with a bold use of colour to create a serene yet magical piece.
