I use two Chinese pictograph characters ? and ?to create drawings. In English, ? means hills, ? means water, and ?? means landscape. I repeatedly write/draw the two characters to form mountains, hills, rivers, and oceans on paper and create minimal yet playful images of landscapes and seascapes.
