The Blue Moon I've yet to see
One evening in June 2023, I had been outside in my garden in Dunfermline, admiring the evening sky when I noticed the moon was a beautiful shade of pink, it was a Strawberry Moon. I wanted to recreate the calming influence of the full moon and this was the starting point for my series of prints, Lunar Love. A couple of months after seeing the Strawberry Moon I was quite excited about potentially witnessing another lunar display which was the upcoming Super Blue Moon. I have yet to see a blue coloured moon and think this will always be the case as the blue moon refers to the rarity of a full moon appearing for a second time within a calendar month but this inspired me to create The Blue Moon I've yet to see.
