Beyond the veil

I find making abstract art most therapeutic and cathartic and with this piece I was meditating on both creation and destruction in the same image. How when you look beyond everyday life, the idea of existence and creation and how it all ends and "the big questions". I was guided by the specific fabric pieces I was drawn to in a messy bag of scrap. I love the texture and colour and intensity, makes me think of the Big bang, conception, the moment a fission bomb detonates, the spectrum of colours and textures.
