Meltdown

This mixed media piece is meant to describe overwhelm and stress of an impending meltdown - I Have been diagnosed as both Autistic and ADHD, And this is meant to depict both the overwhelm and the beauty and the detail and the depth of emotion that comes with that. I'm fascinated with the detail in the woven Fabric and the textures and the colours and the sparkling of light and I feel this enables me to give the intensity of detail necessary for the subject. As I don't tend to look people in the eye and have a degree of face blindness, my subjects tend to be in profile, and overwhelmed by their surroundings.
