Beat Bobbies
This work was created by sketching and photographing people as they enjoyed the summer sunshine last year. I had left them as such until recently when I was exploring an out of focus painting technique and felt the sketch and corresponding image I had made of these police officers as they were patrolling the city centre would transfer really well into a painting in this style.
The painting is 12’ by 12’ approximately and is oil paint on wood panel (and will be in a frame for exhibition).
