I never tire of the visual impact of black and white and incorporating the graphic distortion of the human form into the decorative elements of pattern and texture as well as juxtaposing space, solid black areas and panels of intricate detail. The inspiration for this piece followed on from my previous piece of work - a portrait with a Paisley patterned scarf. This work will be mounted within a 60 by 90cm or an A1 frame.
