Statement
Freelance photographer and artist Alasdair Watson is self-taught and creates in analogue and digital mediums. Photography, writing, and art are his connection to communities, and his work is deeply rooted in the landscapes and languages of Scotland, having grown up in both Paisley and Glasgow. Through the ritual of travel, connection, and creation, Alasdair seeks to tell stories of how we belong to each other and our surroundings, while also exploring ideas of imperfection, impermanence, natural forces, and seclusion.
