Incoming at Pittenweem
This painting was inspired by a recent trip to the east coast where we enjoyed exploring the coastline at Anstruther. It was spring time and the weather was changeable. I love the drama of an incoming storm, the sudden change in colour of the sky and movement of the sea as the storm worked its way inwards. I think of this as a metaphor for the current climate of the world we live in today. As the storm passes, we have a moment of calm and hope for a more peaceful future. This is one of two paintings to be included.
