The Cost of Living
The idea for this piece came to me due to the current cost of living crisis. As well as referencing the increasing financial burden of life, the piece is also a commentary on the emotional cost of living - the sadness, anxiety or other negative emotions that at some point in life we will all experience, many of us as mental illnesses, which are also increasing in prevalence.
I would like to offer this piece for sale at whatever price the buyer feels they can afford for it. If it sells, I will donate my earnings to charity, split between Renfrewshire Foodbank and RAMH, a charity supporting people in Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire in their recovery from mental ill health.
