Paul's Castle
Paul's Castle by Paul Somerville. Paul created this castle using a photo reference as a starting point but it was mostly developed in an experimental way using lots of different materials. Paul spent many hours creating this sculpture. He formed the castle structure using cardboard boxes and tubes. Next were many papier mache layers. He painted the castle and added details including windows, steps, foliage, flags and doorways. Paul is deafblind but this does not prevent him from creating impressive sculptures and paintings. His skills are improving all the time and we are very proud of him.
