One Moment in Time
This artwork was created to challenge the prejudiced attitudes that I have faced as a gay autistic artist. I want to show what love and intimacy look like from my perspective, give the LGBTQIA+ community a voice in artwork, and use my art to help pave the way for a more tolerant society. I've added some sparkle to the varnish for an added touch of flair. One gallery rejected this work, and I've been told this artwork is controversial because it depicts two men in love, which baffles me as I cannot understand what is controversial about love. This is why I'm determined to display lgbtqia+ art and not be silenced as a gay neuro-diverse artist.
