Three Watchtowers
Towers are an inseparable element of a town. Long ago they served a key defense function. However in modern day they have been replaced by skyscrapers; complicated builds covered in glass. In this piece I wanted to intertwine the new and old constructions. I have used white acrylic paint to highlight the exterior glass covering of the buildings and black ink to emphasize the the complicated structures and connections. My aim was to portray the buildings in a way that showed three defenders of a town.
