'scuttle-pecks' is a poetry poster containing lines from my poem 'pigeon with Warburtons' from the collection of the same name. It's a true story about greed and capitalism demonstrated by pigeons. This poem is dark but humorous, don't let its light-hearted nature fool you! Will the protagonist pigeon step out of the shadows, its own greed leading to its demise? As the poem states, will the pigeon keep 'waiting for the rain/to disintegrate this frame/or/step out/be spotted/by twelve/dirt yellow/hungry beaks'.
