This big bold piece takes my work a step closer to abstraction as I worked quickly to capture the colours and textures of seapinks and mosses on rocks. I added textural marks with a sponge and used a variety of brushes in an energetic way to evoke the feeling of viewing these beautiful flowers living in such a wild place.
