This painting is again about moving from my the city to the countryside and is based on a poem called Landscape by John Hewitt. it is about trying to fit in. My paintings inform my tapestries and I can't have one without the other. I have pushed the boundaries on colour as it is very important in my work and I prefer to use colours that distort the conventional.
