Glasgow Interconnected

Glasgow interconnected is a data visualisation using the coordinates of different airport categories from around the world. I have interconnected all of these to Glasgow airport using straight lines to represent flights. This was in response to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) which was held in Glasgow. It aims to highlight harmful carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere from flying. With climate change leaders and climate activists from around the world meeting in Glasgow, it captures a moment in time where the whole world was interconnected via Glasgow.
