With masks they are symbolic in numerous ways in cultures. The object is worn in celebrations from religious to death mask.
Masks represent spirits that can be gods, loved one crossed over, evil and good omens these would been worn in celebration also symbolise spiritualism.
These masks or faces emerge from sculpture shapes to represent these cultural and spiritualism ideas. Inspiration was from Tony Cragg Sculptures where face profile emerges from the main created shape. With masks represent the face profiles or spirits.
