As a tribute to the compnay Caithness Glass I engraved a Caithness Glass bowl with the names of glass designers, dates and places with the £ sign inbetween the words. This represents the influnce costs had on the company which I visted many times when in Wick, only 25 miles away from my studio! I filled the bowl with sand from Thurso Beach highlighting the co=nnection between sand and glass. Finally I made glassblowing tools using glass rods heated in an open flame.
