I based this work on a photograph of a derelict building that had been deliberately digitally corrupted by algorithm. I loved the way that the image jumped, making it harder to decipher what you are looking at. I loved the colour combinations and the static-like textures. I also loved the idea of taking a modern, digital image and making it into an oil painting - fusing traditional skills with modern technology.
