Glitch: Fig 1 was developed from a photograph taken of myself. This image was then manipulated digitally, skewing the real dimensions and proportions of my face, as well as bringing into play a glitching effect. The manipulated image went on to inform this work as I enjoyed translating its properties into pen and ink drawing. “Glitch: Trying to Make it Work” is a deeply personal series of works, dealing with fractured self image and body dysmorphia.
