From the Lake District U.K. Studied fine art at the university of Cumbria I work from my studio in Brampton Cumbria.
I make mixed media paintings and sculptures that tell stories.
The main narrative running through the work is the human journey through life how we relate to each other and the world around us.
Birds and animals appear alongside human figures and patterns inspired by the natural world.
After a period of research an image will come to mind a visual answer to my search for understanding.
Like the emotion captured in a piece of music or a poem I want my paintings to hold onto and convey the energy or emotion I put in.
