Statement
My name is Oleksandra, I present my paintings under the name @limooonli. I'm 18, I combine drawing and photography in my work. I'm from Ukraine, that's where I first started studying drawing at the art lyceum where I learned the basics of art. Moved to Glasgow 2 years ago. My first works touched on the subject of war and its prices. Also, my first exhibitions were held in Edinburgh and Glasgow with the painting "The Price of Freedom", which also took part in a theatrical production. Now I am actively studying color and will change from my first paintings that focused on volume. the technique of drawing from a photo seemed promising and I changed it to my liking. I have been actively engaged in photography for 2 years and I am glad that I was able to combine photography with drawing. In the paintings, I touch on my experiences of adult life, war, and social problems.
