Statement
I’m a Glasgow based artist who makes feminist illustrations. A lot of my work features demonized versions of feminists, a satirical take on the exaggerated ways feminists are often villanized. My work combines this idea with pastel colours and the everyday activities of women and non-binary folk, simply hanging out at home or at the bar.
Representation is particularly important to me, and my work strives to make all intersections of women and queer folk feel seen and represented, particularly in the visual arts where certain intersections such as disability and differing body types are often underrepresented.
