Statement
I am a photographic artist based in Kintyre, Argyll. I have been working as a professional photographer for over 20 years and my work has been exhibited in the UK and Europe. My work is primarily landscapes, seascapes and botanical studies, but I also work with cameraless techniques like cyanotype and mixed media. I studied Art History at St Andrew's University and while I was working at the BBC in Glasgow I did two years of photographic studies at The Glasgow School of Art. Since then I have built up a portfolio of work that has sold via Saatchi Art in the United States and the UK. My work has been published in various publications in Europe including ArtMag, Spotlight and Contemporary Artist magazines and I was one of the first artists to feature in the new European art magazine Art IDEAL. My work was also selected by Saatchi Art to feature in their Annual Catalogue in 2020.
