Statement
As skills increased my designs went from straight forward to complex and the decoration elements have become more integrated with the shape and structure of the pieces.
I live on the west coast of Scotland in Argyll, and I am surrounded by inspiration from the rocky beaches to the forests. With every piece I make I feel like the stone and how it is set
off by the surrounding design to be my way of expressing the beauty of the gemstone used. Most of my work is a one off for this reason. Every stone is slightly different. I have so many ideas, why stick to making the same
thing over and over again I love to variety in nature and in the art we wear.
