Bee's creations are inspired by the point where humankind meets the expanses of nature.
Brought up in Scottish towns and cities and having frequented suburbia of varying sizes, his art derives from an appreciation of a modernist and brutalist urban existence and the calming fluidity of open spaces.
He likes to use a combination of bright colour and concrete greys including structural line to capture childhood memories.
