Statement
Since retirement I have had the time, and energy, to start on the journey to find my own voice through my painting. I have always drawn but needed to find the courage to find my own way of interpreting what I see, through colour, mark making and texture. I gain inspiration from the shapes and organic forms in the landscape, often seen from the sea as I am lucky enough to be able to sail around the coast.
