Statement
I started painting a few years ago and discovered a love for recreating scenes from the unique soulful, landscape of the north west coast of Scotland.
I mostly paint in oils and enjoy working on ocean scenes where I can experiment with vibrant colours and reflections of light.
As a family, we love to travel, however are always drawn back to the drama and sense explosion along Scotlands west coast. More recently I have been drawn to the subtle drama of the Ayrshire coast, closer to home.
Translating memories ,visual and emotional, onto canvas is a privilege and joy.
