After retiring from teaching children with learning difficulties for over 20 years, found an Art Tutor of Classical Painting and started painting 4 years ago.
StatementI started painting 4 years ago after retiring from teaching Special Education for many years. I had not painted for about 40 years. I found an excellent tutor in Glasgow who teaches classical portrait painting and attend the studio every week. I am currently experimenting with various techniques, styles and subjects. My paintings are oil on canvas. In the past 3 years I have been very pleased to sell a few paintings at smaller, local Art Exhibitions.
