Christine Ewan

A graduate of Glasgow School of Art .Christine  has continued to draw and paint while teaching full time and bringing up a family . Is now enjoying the ability to concentrate on painting full time . Is inspired by the natural world and changing seasons and regularly draws and paints from life models in a variety of media ..

Has work in private collections and has exhibited in a number of galleries throughout Scotland. 

Graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a degree in Fine Art , and then worked in education, teaching Art and Design .

I have continued to paint and exhibit  throughout my career .

Inspired  by the Scottish landscape and changing weather I draw and paint en plein air , developing my studies in the studio.I paint in acrylics on paper, and oils on canvas and also mixed media ,

I have exhibited in a number of Scottish Galleries and have work in private collections throughout Scotland .

Sold paintings in Open Studios in Perth and Kinross .

Member of The Art Society in Inverness and attend Life Drawing sessions in the Wasp Studios once a week .

Life drawing also at Moray Art Centre in Findhorn .

I am passionate about my painting and love being outdoors inspired by the changing seasons and weather by   the sea and land.
