For this piece my friend Isabella let me use one of her stunning portrait photos
I found the photo so interesting because of the light and shade, also the tattoo and piercings gave it that something special
I decided to go for a blue background which I painted using brushes and then a plastering trowel for effect
I decided to go for luminous orange to contrast the blue
As with all my paintings I used high quality holbein, gamlin and Windsor and Newton oil paint and mediums
